About ORGANISATION University of Cádiz
The University of Cádiz (UCA) is a young university with an European Seal of Excellence. UCA is
a public institution committed with its environment, dedicated to generate, spread and transfer
knowledge and culture, such as integral training of people and professionals. It distributes its
academic and scientific work along its 4 campuses (Cádiz, Puerto Real, Jerez and Algeciras) with
15 centres (11 faculties and 4 colleges), 47 departments, more than 190 research groups and 6
research institutes develop here their activity.
Position DC8: Microbial interactions useful to reduce chemical inputs on grape and table-grape
(WP1, WP2, WP3, WP5, WP6)
1) To understand the interactions of the pathogen-antagonist-microbiome on grapes and
tablegrapes;
2) To characterize the metabolites secreted by the antagonistic yeasts that has shown
antagonistic aptitudes;
